I offer a safe, inclusive, welcoming & diverse space in which we can explore a variety of issues. I welcome clients from all backgrounds & identities & value someone's intersectional identity & what that represents to them, as I am from minority communities including a BAME background. I champion people from minority groups and have specialist training working with gender, sex & relationship diversity. I offer long & short term therapy options & work at a pace you feel comfortable with. The most important ingredient to therapy is the relationship; so I like to get to know my clients so that they can build trust in me. It can be a scary prospect talking to someone you don't know about your difficulties! I don't use technical jargon and have a relational approach.

Since 2007 I have been in a variety of supporting roles including working with issues such as homelessness, drugs, alcohol, offending behaviour, mental health issues, gender identity, sexuality and have worked in the criminal justice system for almost a decade with victims of crime. I was a hate crime lead, trained in restorative justice and was part of the Police national LGBT network to enhance understanding not only with the public, but within the organisation. I have worked since 2016 as Counsellor with several organisations including young people's charities, City College in Peterborough and Thorpe Hall hospice as an individual therapist and offering group work and training/consultancy.

I am a registered member of the BACP and qualified as an integrative counsellor. I hold an enhanced DBS and have additional training with Pink Therapy and have attended and continue to attend training to enhance my knowledge. I offer individual counselling, consultancy & group work.

I have been in the clients seat and appreciate how difficult it can be to reach out & ask for support. You've made the first step just by accessing my website. I'm extremely passionate about my work & walking alongside my clients during their difficult times. If you would like to know more about the therapy I offer please do get in touch for more information or a pressure free brief chat.
